Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and changes for management and stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network administrators, database administrators, and developers, to resolve system-related issues, implement changes, and support system integration efforts. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred. However, practical experience and industry certifications can also be valuable.
Unix/Linux Administration Experience: Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration, including experience with operating systems such as Linux, Solaris, or AIX. Demonstrated experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Unix-based systems and servers.
